Welcome To Seth Romano!
February 19th, 2009Seth Romano, rock vocalist extraordinaire, has just become the latest addition to the halfstepup team of contributing writers and teachers.
Bringing with him an expertise in several instruments alongside his vocal prowess, Seth also boasts a degree from several semesters of study at the Berklee College of Music and years of experience as a working musician. That being said, everyone here at HSU is uber-excited to have him on board with us.
Seth’s first piece for halfstepup can be found here. Thanks Seth!
New Contributor: Nate Laguzza
January 11th, 2009Hello and welcome to 2009 to whoever-it-is-who-reads-this.
We are very pleased here at halfstepup.com to announce the addition of Nate Laguzza as a contributor to the site.
Nate is a fantastic drummer that Mason played with in his band back at Berklee over in Boston. He has kindly agreed to throw some of his excellent knowledge our way so that HSU readers may be further enlightened with drumming related thought bombs.
Nate’s first of many informative pieces to come can be found here. And if you’d like to learn more about Nate and learn about any projects he’s kickin’, hit his myspace up over here.
Yeah, We Got A Facebook Page, Too
November 25th, 2008What’s up now, internet?
The HSU Facebook Page is now… uh, Facebookin’. Just the latest installment of our efforts to either conquer the internet or grow increasingly annoying. It depends if you like us or not.
But if you do, go to the HSU Facebook Page right this very moment. Become a fan of the page, leave a comment or two, and most importantly, hit that share button to spread us around to all your homies.
And don’t worry… if there’s a site out there that HSU can have a profile on, we’ll make one…
…No remotely social web destination is safe from our green splatters and talk of ii-V-I progressions.
HSU Has A YouTube Channel
November 25th, 2008I know what you’re thinking… “Why would you make a YouTube Channel? Don’t you want to keep your videos on your site? Aren’t they the enemy? What’s the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?”
Well, sure, we want to (mostly) keep our videos on our site, but more than that, we want to spread the good word of halfStepup.com. And let’s face it, if someone wants to look at a video on the internet, they probably think of YouTube, right?
So we gonna get us a piece a that juicy goodness.
Really, we just want everyone to find out about HSU, cuz, well, we think it’s pretty groovy. So visit our YouTube Channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/halfStepup. And of course, subscribe, befriend, and spread, eh?
Thanks everyone!
Oh, and if you’d like the answer to the Swallow Question, try this page.
The HSU Myspace Page is Up
November 25th, 2008Yeah, well, you know, if this loser has one (and an album), I guess we had better have one too, right?
Visit our little Myspace page at http://www.Myspace.com/halfstepup. And once you’re there, do add us to your little myspace world of friends… and after that, do share our little myspace page with your little myspace friends.
Just keep everything little.
Thanks! And Enjoy!
(BTW, I apologize for linking to the page I linked to, I shouldn’t have subjected you to that :-/ )
